WNBA rookie Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever alone deserves credit for the recent surge in the popularity of women’s basketball, but Reese is right behind her.
As the WNBA surged in popularity during the 2024 season, Angel Reese staked her claim to helping the game grow.
Unfortunately, with her being seen everywhere, it means there will be people trying to use her likeness for personal gain.
That brings us to one possible victim who believes that he is talking to the Chicago Sky star.
One video shows an African-American man telling his family that he has Reese’s personal phone number.

Angel Reese Threatening To Sit Out

Angel Reese is a bonafide star in the WNBA, both on and off the floor. The Chicago Sky forward was an All-Rookie player in 2024.
The WNBA has exploded over the last couple of years, none more than the 2024 season when Caitlin Clark arrived.
On her “Unapologetically Angel” podcast, Chicago Sky star Angel Reese hinted at a potential strike if the players’ demands aren’t met in negotiations ahead of the next CBA.
Following the 2024 season, the WNBA players’ union opted out of its current CBA. The deal is set to expire in October.
“I gotta get in the meetings because I’m hearing, if y’all don’t give us what we want, we sitting out,” Reese said.
“That’s a possibility,” Dallas Wings guard DiJonai Carrington replied. “For real.”
