Caitlin Clark has been busy in the gym this offseason.

Fans have been speculating that the 23-year-old WNBA star has put on some muscle ahead of her sophomore season with the Indiana Fever, and Clark proved she’s been hitting the court with a reposted photo on her Instagram Story on Monday, March 11.

Raina Harmon — a longtime assistant coach for Clark’s alma mater, the Iowa Hawkeyes women’s basketball team — posted the original photo with Clark on Instagram, writing, “Pulled up on my dawg and she was WORKING! Them scary hours gon’ have ’em like 😱.”

Clark reposted the image and added, “Family,” to the bottom of her Story.

The sighting of Clark in the gym comes amid social media’s reaction to the basketball star’s build. When Clark was spotted cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes in their game against Ohio State in the Big Ten women’s tournament on March 7, fans pointed out that her arms looked noticeably more muscular than they did in her rookie season.

“Caitlin Clark clearly made adding muscle a priority this offseason,” one account wrote in response to the photos of Clark.

“She’s about to average 40/10/15,” said another.

Clark’s transformation comes roughly two months before the WNBA season begins. Clark and the Indiana Fever will host the Chicago Sky — including Angel Reese — for their season opener on May 17 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

She led the rookie class in assists, points, steals and minutes played that season. She also had the league’s second-highest percentage in free throw shooting with 90.6% accuracy.

She also set a league record for most assists with 337 and was selected for the 2024 AT&T WNBA All-Star Game, alongside Reese.
