An insider revealed: “Kimberly either was unaware of Bettina or chose not to acknowledge it. Did she catch wind of rumors about Don Jr. being involved with someone else? Likely.
“She’s not naive, but it’s easy to convince yourself otherwise when you’re deeply invested in a relationship and believe he feels the same way.”
Speculation about their relationship grew stronger after a photo surfaced of them holding hands during a night out in Palm Springs in December.
Shortly thereafter, Don Jr. finally addressed his breakup with Guilfoyle in a statement to Page Six.
