From PayPal partners to enemies—Musk & Reid Hoffman’s bitter feud explodes as Tesla protests shake the nation!

The world’s richest man, Elon Musk, is blaming fellow billionaires for financing protests against DOGE and his company Tesla.

Police nationwide are investigating a string of attacks on Tesla charging stations, showrooms and vehicles.

There have also been videos of non-violent Tesla protests featuring activists chanting ‘Elon Musk has got to go’ as advocates link arms and disregard police.

The demonstrations have occurred in New York City, Boston, PortlandOregon and elsewhere.

Musk said over the weekend that investor George Soros, 94, and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman, 57, were some of those involved in financing the protests.

The Tesla CEO shared on his social media platform X that an ‘investigation’ into the protests discovered that Soros and Hoffman were responsible for donating cash to protest groups through the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue.

‘An investigation has found 5 ActBlue-funded groups responsible for Tesla ‘protests’: Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project and Democratic Socialists of America,’ Musk shared on X over the weekend.

‘ActBlue funders include George Soros [and] Reid Hoffman,’ his post continued. ‘ActBlue is currently under investigation for allowing foreign and illegal donations in criminal violation of campaign finance regulations.’

‘This week, 7 ActBlue senior officials resigned, including the associate general counsel. If you know anything about this, please post in replies,’ Musk finished his note, prompting his over 200 million followers to send over information they may know.

Soros and Hoffman are both notable Democratic donors, shoveling out millions to support liberal candidates and initiatives.

Soros has become a ‘boogey man’ of sorts for Republicans, who regularly bash him for financing Democrats using his network of foundations, most notably Open Society Foundations.

‘The Open Society Foundations are not funding these protests or attacks,’ a spokesperson for the nonprofit told DailyMail.com in a statement.

‘Any claims suggesting otherwise are false. We do not coordinate, train, or strategize with protest organizers or participants.’

Hoffman also hit back on Musk’s claims on X, saying he never funded any of the protests in question.

‘Just one more of Elon’s false claims about me: I never funded anyone for Tesla protests,’ the LinkedIn co-founder wrote in response to Musk’s post.

‘I don’t condone violence. But it’s clear Americans are angry at him – it’s easier to explain away their anger, than to accept that actions have consequences,’ Hoffman shared.

The correction seemed to infuriate Musk, who responded to Hoffman with a coded message apparently noting the co-founder’s connections to pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

‘Describe your favorite island vacation,’ Musk wrote to Hoffman.

For months Musk has claimed that Hoffman is afraid of Epstein’s client list being released for the Trump administration, a fight he renewed on Monday.

But Hoffman denies Musk’s claims, saying in December: ‘Elon’s defamation makes me angry and sad … Angry because it is an ugly assault. Sad because it comes from someone whose entrepreneurial achievements I continue to admire.’

In response to Musk’s Epstein-related barb on Monday, Hoffman shot back a picture of Tesla stock tanking showing a large rise and fall of the share price, an image that resembled a mountain.

‘I don’t know about islands but here’s your least favorite mountain,’ the LinkedIn co-founder retorted.

The fight is particularly personal because Musk and Hoffman used to work together at the financial services company PayPal 20 years ago.
