Golden State has gotten back on track a bit in the last few games, to the point of being back in the Top 10 in the West. Some players are in pretty good shape… and it wouldn’t be without reason, judging by the recent viral statement from a member of the franchise.

If there’s one franchise that’s hard to gauge in this 2024-25 campaign, it’s definitely the Warriors.

Their season has been a roller coaster: after a great start, they completely collapsed at the start of the winter, going from the top of the Western Conference to a place outside the Play-In.

Already absent from the playoffs last year, Stephen Curry & co. didn’t want to relive such humiliation.

The arrival of Jimmy Butler before the deadline has clearly given them a boost since the trade, the Dubs have won two in a row and have re-entered the Top 10 in the West.

For the moment, his recruitment is proving to be profitable.

That said, the former Heat player is not the only one who has done them good in recent games.

While Golden State is in the middle of a road trip, a certain Quinten Post has been very convincing with nearly 12 points per game.

Except for the recent victory against the Bucks, the Dutch pivot has even started every time, a great show of confidence.

How can we explain this very encouraging trend?

The rookie’s teammate, Brandin Podziemski, seems to have some ideas on the subject, as he made it known to NBC after the game against Milwaukee through a statement full of innuendos:

I think he’s playing well because his girlfriend is with us on this road trip!

While away games often deprive players of seeing their loved ones, this does not seem to be the case for Post who would always be in the company of his sweetheart.

Enough to constantly perk him up?
