NBA – “It feels like a farce” – fans and players disɢustєd by the All-Star Game – “Get ’em σʋᴛ!”: A closer look says it all!
The 2025 All-Star Game has everyone agreeing, fans and players included. A disgrace for the NBA and basketball in general.
Adam Silver has managed to kill the event, to the point where his departure would not even be a surprise.
Like every year, the 2025 All-Star Game has been talked about, but it is often for the wrong reasons.
We used to see a lot of highlights in recent years, much less in this new edition and this very special format. But we can say it: the system put in place by Adam Silver has not convinced.
This is perhaps the worst All-Star Game in history.
Too little basketball at the end with some players like Cade Cunningham who only played… 5 minutes over the entire evening.
Add in the too frequent breaks for commercials and promotional games (including a video for Mr. Beast on Youtube), and you get a big mess.
Adam Silver targeted after the shame of the All-Star Game
To simply summarize the event, the ASG 2025 was even less basketball than before and more “show” with guests. How could anyone validate that?
How could Adam Silver approve such a mess?
Some on X do not understand and we will spare you the most violent outbursts against the commissioner.
@nickiswashed: “27 minutes of bakset, 1h13 of Kevin Hart who is not funny and boring, 30 minutes with Draymond Green who explains that the Rising Stars team is useless, 15 minutes of Mr. Beast who films his Youtube video. 1 hour of commercials. Bravo Silver. »
@AlexHoops_: “Really feels like a joke. They really thought all these ads and introductions wouldn’t annoy people? Whose idea was it? Who gave the green light?”
@FredKatz: “The worst part about the All-Star Game isn’t the Rising Stars or the 40-point rule. It’s the fact that there’s even less basketball than in the past. Ads and stuff? Where’s the game?”
Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Victor Wembanyama, and Trae Young all criticized the format afterward.
Bonus? Even the players got fed up with all the “breaks” and didn’t understand. So Brown sent a subtle message live on air:
Brown: “Get ’em out!” »
A fiasco, a flop, it’s hard to sum up the 2025 All-Star Game in any other way.
The fans hated it, as did the players, who didn’t understand all those breaks and interviews.
Adam Silver needs to apologize, and quickly.
