NBA – Wembanyama disgusted by a teammate, the All-Star Game is a monumental flop! (video)
We didn’t think it was possible and yet, Adam Silver and the NBA managed to kill the All-Star Game even more. In an uninteresting mini-tournament, even Victor Wembanyama didn’t hide his frustration with his own teammate.
There will be a lot to say after this All-Star Weekend. A lot. But when it comes to counting, the conclusion will probably be quite simple:
Adam Silver managed to create one of the most crappy events in the history of the league. Harsh, yes, but deserved after another completely missed evening this Sunday.
The evening started off in a very bad way since LeBron James and Anthony Edwards withdrew due to injury.
No King on the court and that’s a problem, since he apparently didn’t think it necessary to inform the others of his injury before this weekend.
And then there were the games and… what can I say.
The All-Star Game flops again
Apart from Kevin Hart being annoying all evening in “presenter” mode, or the presence of the Rising Stars team that was so controversial with Draymond Green, the games were not competitive.
Worse? Some players had to settle for 4/5 minutes of play in total since a defeat in the semi-finals ends your adventure.
Nice for Cade Cunningham in particular and the Pistons fans.
We could also mention the constant interruptions during the games to do “interviews” or mini events to allow fans to win money or prizes, and you end up with a monumental fiasco.
The flow of the game was killed and the fans are demanding Adam Silver’s resignation on the spot.
The worst thing in the end is for those who really came to play like Victor Wembanyama.
The Frenchman came to defend and win, but not all of them.
Alperen Sengun let his defender go for the last basket and Wemby didn’t even try to hide his frustration after his team’s defeat in the final.
We were skeptical about the new All-Star Game, but we didn’t expect such a fiasco.
Games without interest, too short and constantly paused for activities that the fans didn’t care about at all.
Even the players can’t believe it.
