Unrivaled’s Rose Basketball Club holds just a 3-4 record, but that’s good enough for third-best in the 3×3 women’s basketball league’s inaugural season.
A pair of Rose teammates, Angel Reese and Lexie Hull, shared a fun moment during a recent practice session when they both connected on deep shots and came together with a hug.
Hull is a teammate of Caitlin Clark’s on the Indiana Fever, a competitive rival of Reese going back to their games against each other while in high school and college.
That rivalry came to a head when Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes lost to Reese’s LSU Tigers in the national championship game in 2023. In that game, Reese infamously pointed to her ring finger, taunting Clark about LSU taking home the title.
However, the rivalry may exist more in the minds of fans and media as Reese and Hull are having fun as teammates. Unrivaled fans celebrated the duo’s chemistry on social media.
“Another duo I didn’t know I needed, might be my fav actually 😭🥰,” read one comment.
“Love to see it! I enjoy the different sets of teammates. It will have a positive impact on the WNBA too. 🙌,” said one fan.

“PUT THEM ON THE SAME WNBA TEAM!!!!!!” noted one viewer.
“Super cute. They are both super girly and silly, so I can see them being buddies ❤️,” said another fan.
“Unrivaled is the (expletive)! I love getting to see these ladies getting paid to basically be at summer camp in the winter 😂” wrote one fan.
Reese is fifth in Unrivaled in averaging 9.57 rebounds per game, and she leads the league in offensive rebounds (22). Hull is averaging just 8.6 minutes and 6.1 points per game.
