Taylor Swift had drastically different air time at this year’s Super Bowl, where the Kansas City Chiefs were defeated by the Philadelphia Eagles.
Swift was there cheering on boyfriend Travis Kelce, tight end for the Chiefs, but since their team was defeated 40-22 by the Eagles, he’d have been commiserating rather than celebrating by the end of the night.
Her association with the Chiefs meant she got booed by Eagles fans when the camera cut to her and put her image on the jumbotron for the crowd to see, and fans think they’ve worked out her three-word reaction to her negative reception.

While she had to watch her boyfriend lose the Super Bowl, Swift also had to put up with US president Donald Trump seemingly intent on having a go at her.
He posted videos of their reactions on Truth Social and said she had the toughest night of all while declaring ‘MAGA is very unforgiving’.
Following complaints in previous years about how much the cameras kept cutting to Swift, this year her screentime saw a significant shift.

At last year’s Super Bowl, Swift appeared on screen 12 times for a total of 54 seconds in CBS’ broadcast.
Given that the Super Bowl lasts a very long time, it’s hardly the sort of thing that’s liable to ruin your enjoyment of the show, but people complained anyway.
This time around the camera only cut to her once, giving her far less screentime than she’d had before.
Not that she’s likely to mind, Swift has said in the past that she doesn’t know how much she’s going to be shown and it’s not in her control anyway.
The amount of times cameras spend cutting to Swift for a reaction at NFL games has been dropping for a while.

According to The Mirror, broadcasters have really toned down the Taylor Swift content during Chiefs games.
Meanwhile, before the Super Bowl the Irish Star said there would not be a dedicated camera on her to constantly check for her reactions and would only cut to her when it was fitting.
That would probably mean that Travis Kelce would need to do something to make her reaction worthwhile, and some who watched the Super Bowl reckoned the Chiefs tight end ‘didn’t do anything’ noteworthy in the game.
One fan wrote: “Travis Kelce just didn’t do anything. 4 receptions on 6 targets, for 39 yards. Much less reason to show her when there’s not much for her to react to.”
