Prayers Are Being Sent To Former Super Bowl Halftime Show Performer Amid Health Crisis

Colombian pop superstar Shakira was forced to cancel a show in Lima, Peru, after being admitted to hospital with an abdominal issue.
Posting to Instagram on Sunday, the singer said she had been taken to the emergency room and was told she would have to cancel her concert.
“The doctors whose care I am currently under have communicated that I am not in good enough condition to perform this evening,” she said.
“I am very sad to not be able to take (to) the stage today. I’ve been looking forward to reuniting with my incredible fans here in Peru,” Shakira said, adding that she hoped to be discharged soon.
“My team and the promoters are already working on a new date to communicate to you,” she added.
Shakira’s hospitalization came just days after she launched her first world tour in seven years.
Fans were worried about her and sent many prayers.
“That’s tough, but health comes first. I’m sure she’ll be back stronger than ever 💪,” one fan said.
“Hoping she makes a speedy recovery, I hope she’s okay,” another fan stated.
“Wishing Shakira a speedy recovery, hope Peru gets to enjoy her concert very soon! a third fan added.
“Omg no, I hope she gets better soon!” a fourth fan stated.
One final fan added: “Wishing Shakira a speedy recovery! Health comes first, and your fans will be here when you’re ready.”

Former Super Bowl halftime show performer Shakira has been hospitalized with an abdominal condition.
She is worldwide known and became even more so when she and Jennifer Lopez teamed up for a hotly anticipated stage collaboration at Super Bowl LIV.
The Latin American star brought out Bad Bunny as well for a performance as well.
