The Real Reason Barron’s Mom Won’t Let Him Stay in NYU’s Dormitory Revealed, and It Makes Everyone Feel So Regretful

Barron Trump may be attending classes at New York University, but he won’t be living in campus housing anytime soon.

The 18-year-old son of president elect Donald Trump started classes at New York University’s Stern School of Business in September, but despite attempts to mingle with his peers, the teen isn’t living on campus with them.

Instead, sources say that that Barron is living his family’s Midtown Manhattan residence of Trump Tower.

‘She will do everything she can to make sure Barron does well in school and is socially and mentally adjusted to his life as a college student,’ a source told People.

‘Living in a dorm in a college town isn’t in the stars for him at this point,’ they added.

According to the source, Barron ‘already has his own political ideas.’

‘It all needs to be monitored in light of the situation.’

They added that his mother Melania, 54, feels it’s best that he remain at home, rather than campus housing, for the time being, especially with his dad about to become president again.

‘Whether or not others think he is capable of being on his own, Melania feels it’s better to be around him as much as possible,’ the insider added. ‘I see that continuing.’

In an interview with Fox News in September, Melanie said it was Barron’s decision to study in New York, where he lived until his father became president in 2016.

‘It was his decision to come here that he wants to be in New York and study in New York and live in his home, and I respect that,’ Melania said at the time.

‘I hope he will have a great experience because his life is very different than any other 18- or 19-year-old child,’ the future First Lady added.

Melania is reportedly plotting her next move, as her husband prepares for presidency.

‘Barron is in school all day, so she has plenty of time for official jobs as well as being there for her son when he needs her,’ the source said.

However, the insider added that this living situation may not be permanent for all of Barron’s years at college but is the best course of action ‘for now.’
