Caitlin Clark’s appearance on Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast continues to turn heads.
The Indiana Fever star served as a guest on the Jan. 2 episode of the Kelce brothers’ podcast, during which they spoke about a variety of topics, from Clark’s Taylor Swift experience to her Kansas City Chiefs fandom.
Clark also shared her journey in the WNBA and the struggles she faced early on, especially amid the massive expectations on her shoulders.
Another moment that stood out to fans, however, was when Clark talked football with the Kelce siblings. In a video shared online by Austin Franklin, the Instagram user broke down how the Fever star showed elite football knowledge.
In the video, Clark can be heard talking about the Minnesota Vikings, Seattle Seahawks, Drew Allar and the NFL Draft, among several other topics. It looked like Clark was holding back and hiding how deeply knowledgeable and updated she is when it comes to football, something that the commentator in the video pointed out.
Fans quickly took to the comment section to react to the video, with many agreeing that Clark knows more about football than she was showing during the interview.
“Caitlin Clark knows more ball than 99.99% of the dudes who comment on her game,” a commenter wrote.
Another one said, “When she doesn’t want you to know she knows more than you. Smart lady people resent that sometimes.”
“I’m thinking she getting into offensive and defensive play concepts and breaking down the game but this just surface level stuff,” a social media user shared.
A fan further stated, “She’s being humble about her knowledge. They probably went and told everyone how cool she is.”
“She’s definitely a smart cookie,” a supporter added.
A sixth poster said, “Love this and definitely knows ball.”
It remains to be seen when fans will get a chance to hear Caitlin Clark talk about football again. With the WNBA in its offseason and the Fever playmaker taking a break from competition, though, perhaps Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce can invite her again to their podcast.
