Dark Clouds Loom on LeBron James’ $50.8 Million Assets as Lakers Star Deals With Aftermath of LA Wildfires

The past few weeks have been ruthless for Los Angeles. The wildfires ravaging South California show no mercy. Amidst the chaos, Adam Silver declared all games in LA postponed due to the devastation, but that doesn’t seem to be enough.
JJ Redick and Warriors HC Steve Kerr have already lost their homes and the fire is advancing toward LeBron James‘ town in Brentwood.
LeBron broke his silence Wednesday after last week’s Southern California wildfires forced his family to evacuate. The fires have scorched 60 square miles and claimed at least 25 lives. James admitted the ordeal has left a significant mental impact.
“I have a couple of dear friends that have lost their homes in the Palisades,” James shared after the Lakers’ 117-108 win over the Miami Heat. “Obviously, my heart goes out to all of the families, all across not only the Palisades but all across L.A. County and all the surrounding areas because of the fire. … It’s been a lot of emotions. Kind of been off. Personally, I’ve been off.”
Even in victory, LeBron’s pain is impossible to ignore. He further shared: “My family- we’ve been evacuated since Thursday night. So I’ve been in a hotel since pretty much when we got back from Dallas. So you know just figuring it out.” The LA Lakers played the Mavericks on January 7, and it looks like the 40-year-old legend has been living in a hotel with his family, who are all safe.
“I’ve just been completely off for obvious reasons, but hopefully things are contained or continue to be contained. And hopefully, at some point, we can start to push forward and move forward and put it behind us and rebuild our city, rebuild this beautiful city,” LeBron shared expressing that despite everything, he still has hope.
However, what remains a secret is Bron’s property in Brentwood. What has happened to his cars?
What has happened to his home? Surprisingly there aren’t any reports around this. But, given the situation that’s getting on to the bad side in the area, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say, trouble is looming at large.
Just four days ago, reports sent an alarm across America and the world because: “The Palisades Fire grew by 1,000 acres overnight and is now threatening the Brentwood community in Los Angeles.”
This meant that the posh residential area, home to Vice President Kamala Harris and LeBron James, was at risk of burning down. But, four days later, there are no updates about the Lakers superstar’s $37 million, 16k sq. foot, 8-bedroomed sweet home.
Meanwhile, LeBron James’ vast collection of cars is also at risk’s end (of course!). The billionaire hoopster has luxury cars like the Rolls-Royce Phantom ($400K), Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano ($300K), and Mercedes Maybach S650 ($200K) among the many he owns.
Bron’s car collection itself is around $13,8 million. And to even think about them being turned into ashes feels beyond heartbreaking.

However, the superstar and his family are safe, which is more important. LeBron is concerned, not just for himself and his worldly possessions, but also for the collective damage.
While there’s no surety when relief will finally be here, all one can do is hope and pray for things to get better soon.
