Amid Infidelity Accusations, LeBron James Makes Emotional Confession on Savannah James & 3 Kids
“Let me just tell you what I’ve heard. LeBron, you and Drake used to go on two mans. You’ve been cheating on your g-ddamn wife”. This recent claim by Livingston Allen, aka DJ Akademiks, has now put LeBron James into some hot water. Though Akademiks has provided no proof to verify the NBA star’s infidelity accusation, just claiming it tarnishes the 40-year-old’s image.
Furthermore, LeBron’s long-time friendship with Drake only makes things worse. As of now, the player has not chosen to speak out on these accusations. However, he may have said something recently that would have diminished them completely.
LeBron James recently sat down for an interview with NFL’s famed Kelce brothers, Jason and Travis. As the conversation progressed, LeBron touched base on the mindset he adopted when making his NBA entry. When he decided what he wanted to become, the current All-Time Scoring Leader set out to be the best in his field.
“I was like okay, but in order for that to happen, not only do I got to put the work in on the court, I have to make sure that I take care of the business off the court as well” said LeBron when discussing how he developed his mindset. “Like, you can’t be a sh-t show, you can’t be a piece of sh-t. You can’t be doing things that affects anything that has anything to do with your profession and being available to your teammates, being available to the franchise, being available every time you get out, there that cause a distraction.”
Discussing his family, LeBron added “When I started to start my family, that was another part, and I knew Savannah was the one, and I started having kids. I was like ‘I didn’t have that male influence, my dad wasn’t around’. I was like, ‘okay I can’t fu-k that up.’”
Establishing a memorable career was certainly motivation enough for LeBron James to not allow himself to be unfaithful to his goal. At the same time, having a family was motivation enough for LeBron James to not screw things up in that regard too. Even if it meant balancing his NBA career with the part of his life outside the basketball court.
LeBron James knows more than most people about what it is like to come from a family that isn’t whole. He never knew his father, Anthony McClelland, who did not choose to be a part of his son’s life. His mother, Gloria James, gave birth to LeBron when she was just 16, and raised him as a single parent. The struggle of moving from apartment to apartment in Akron would have been a tough memory. One that would have been seeded in the future NBA star’s mindset. Therefore, when Savannah herself gave birth to Bronny when she was just 18, and LeBron was 19, he may have experienced some Déjà vu.
It was at that point that he may have decided to deeply commit to his family, while simultaneously fulfilling his goal of becoming a star NBA player. That commitment may have allowed LeBron to become a loving father to Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri James, along with a devoted husband to Savannah James.

In LeBron James’ two-decade-long NBA career, he has avoided scandals on a personal level. Therefore, for such claims to come up now, even unproven ones, are sure to get people’s attention. While it is not for us to state whether the claims are true or false, all we can do is listen to how the player talks about his family.
Several people in Lebron James’ circle would be aware of the type of person that he is. Therefore, even before DJ Akademiks came out with his claim, one significant voice had come out to defend the Los Angeles Lakers star.
Charlamagne tha God criticized Drake for alleging LeBron James’ infidelity: “Why are you this petty bro?”
DJ Akademiks may not have come out with his claims if Drake hadn’t kicked the ball first. After all, the infidelity accusations first began after the Canadian Rapper’s chat was leaked by designer Chris Blake Griffith. The same highlighted Drake discussing his beef with Universal Music Group by writing “Me and Universal is like if Nike was funding a campaign about LeBron cheating on his wife”. Soon, the claims by DJ Akademiks came out. Radio host Charlamagne tha God was not impressed by this, and not did waste time in making his criticism known.
“For you to do this and come out and say, ‘Hey don’t make me tarnish your public image,’ then saying something about LeBron cheating on his wife in a DM and then to hit [up] Akademiks and say it was fake, then post later and say, ‘I thought this through,’ why are you this petty bro?” said the host in a segment of his ‘Brilliant Idiots’ podcast.
Drake and LeBron James’ friendship allegedly deteriorated ever since the beef between the rapper and Kendrick Lamar escalated last year. The NBA player, along with a couple of his peers, was captured attending one of Lamar’s concerts and even vibing to ‘Not Like Us’ which was a diss track against the Canadian. In light of this, Charlamagne believed that Drake’s actions were just a way for him to get back at the NBA star.
As for says that DJ Akademiks, Charlamagne tha God claimed that the podcaster needs to be more careful with the allegations. After all, LeBron could take legal action against him.
It is too early to state where the allegations placed against LeBron can go. Till then, all that fans can do is look on in anticipation.
